MUA draws govt attention

IMPHAL, Mar 14: Maring Uparup Assembly (MUA), the apex body of the Maring tribe urged the concern authority to look into the ongoing PMGSY road construction and initiate necessary action.

In a statement issued by L. Modun Charanga, president MUA, stated that a team of Maring Uparup Assembly conducted a survey of the ongoing road construction from Khudengthabi to Rilram Centre on March 1, 2016.

It said during the survey, the MUA members found that the road construction under PMGSY’s Package Nos. 268 & 269 is under progress but no progress was found for Package No. 267 & 269.

It urged the concern authority to look into the matter and take necessary action particularly for Package No. 267 & 279.

While informing to visit all the government institution in Maring areas, the MUA also appealed all the concern to discharge their duties sincerely.
