IMPHAL, Apr 6: A man who run a grocery shop at New Bazar under Churachandpur Police Station was allegedly arrested by a team of security forces posted at Tuibuang and beaten him black and blue.
The incident took place today around 1 pm. The injured man has been identified as Philem Rabi Singh, 25 son of Ph Ibohal Singh of Khumuzamba Meitei Leikai, Churachandpur.
It is said that Rabi was forced by the security forces to confess that he was involved in the recent bomb attacks in areas of Churachandpur.
