Sri Sathya Sai Seva team visits state

IMPHAL, May 13: An 11 member-team, including executive members and coordinator, of Sri Sathya Sai Seva (SSSS) Organisation visited the state today and a grand reception in their honour was held at Gandhi Memorial Hall.

All India President Nimish Pandya while addressing the audience stated that he is lucky enough to visit the state with picturesque landscape and kind people having hearts of love and affection. He said that even the periphery of state airport was filled with the chanting ‘Sai Ram….Sai Ram’.

On behalf of the team, he said that they are very happy to be here in the state having so many devotees and soft hearted people.

“We have devalued ourselves and valued everything else” Nimish said adding that God exist within ourselves and it is us to value God above materialistic things. He mentioned that God always wanted us to be the reflection of God while people always are just ready to be the followers.

He said that the amount of courtesy, love and affection that the people of Manipur gave them will be shared to places will be visiting and added that they did not come here to guide but be guided and relay what state has to the rest of the world.

The visiting national team included All India Vice President N Ramani, National Vice President SSSVIP Co-ordinator Koteswar Rao, National Medical Coordinator Dr T Ram Monohar Rao, National Information Technology Coordinator T Sunder, Director of Institute of Sathya Sai Educare BG Pitre, Trust Convenor (UP & Uttrakhand) Ravish Kanna, National Bal Vikas Coordinator Kamla Pandya, National Bal Vikas Coordinator Dr Neeta Khanna, National Bal Vikas Coordinator of SSSS Organisation of India Dr Sasibala and Dr T Leela Priya.

The grand reception of the national team was organised by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Manipur. As part of the reception ganapati prarthana, devotional songs and cultural programme of pung cholom were also performed.
