IMPHAL, Jun 3: The College Students Council Manipur (CSCM) today closed down Administrative blocks of 13 colleges located in the four valley districts demanding release of the two student leaders arrested on May 26 during an ILP movement.
The council has been demanding unconditional release of CC Higher Secondary School students’ union general secretary Bruce Pebam and former general secretary Ibotonsana Higher Secondary School students’ union Loitongbam Bidya Laxmi who were arrested by the police during an ILPS agitation.
Volunteers of the council today locked down the administrative blocks of DM College of Science, DM College of Arts, DM College of Commerce, Imphal College, GP Women’s College, Maharaja Bodhchandra College, Manipur College, NG College, Oriental College, Liberal College, YK College, Thoubal, Naorem Birahari College and Morang College, Bishnupur.
