IMPHL, May 11:36 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) provided furniture assets and toilet block to the Changjal School in Chandel district located in Indo- Myanmar border, in a press released.
In another occasion,36 Assam Rifles inaugurated water supply scheme at village Tuitong in the remote area of Samtal Salient. The water supply scheme was dedicated to the villagers by Commander 26 Sector in a ceremony at Tuitong village in presence of village administration and populace of the area. The local populace expressed their thanks and gratitude for the help being rendered by Assam Rifles. The unit also distributed Solar lights to Village S Bongjoi, under Old Samtal, it further added.
