IMPHAL, April 17: The All Lamka Taxi Owners Society, ALTOS, has decided to suspend its ongoing general strike along the Tiddim road and instead impose a passenger vehicle bandh along the said road from tomorrow i.e. April 18, according to a press statement of the society issued here today.
While thanking the public for their co-operation in making the bandh a success the statement appealed to the public to bear with the society in case there is any need for resumption of the bandh at any time in future to ensure that their demands like proper parking places at Nityaipat Chuthek for dropping and picking places of the passengers besides other are met by the government.
