IMPHAL, April 25: SEERTI beat VSAI by 3-1 while IVFA draws IMVFA by 0-0 in today’s matches of the ongoing 14th edition challenge cup veteran football tournament held at Mapal Kangjeibung.
In the first ground match between SEERTI and VSAI, TS Dominic (SEERTI) scored the first goal in 3 minutes and later at 46 and 49 minutes SK Sheisong (SEERTI) added two goals making a total of 3 whereas P Rojen scored the only goal of VSAI at 40 minutes time.
In the second ground match between IVFA and IMVFA, both the team was not able to score any goals and ended the match in a draw. But IVFA and IMVFA have entered the quarter final from pool D after today’s match.
