IMPHAL, June 19: The Wide Angle Social Development Organization (WASDO) organized a workshop on the Right to Education on June 16 at its conference hall here.
The basic theme of the workshop which was held with active support from MACR, Imphal West, was to spread awareness on Right to Education, particularly in Imphal West, a statement from WASDO said.
It said officials of the state Education Department and SSA staff attended the workshop as resource persons. They are Gopimohon Maibam, ZEO, Zone-I, Pradipkumar, convenor, MACR and Nancy M, state coordinator, SSA and Bobychand, DPM, SSA as chief guest, president and guests of honour.
The discussion was also attended by school management committees, local club members, social activists and parents.
