IMPHAL, September 10: The World Literacy Day was observed by Lions Club of Leimarol, Imphal by organising a ‘Reading Action Programme’ at Paonam Pakaleima Public School. Around 40 students benefited from the programme. More than 70 story books, educational charts, note books, pencils and crayons were donated to the school children. The Reading Action programme is being organised as the theme of the International president of Lions Clubs International, a release said.
