IMPHAL, October 19: The troops of 18 SIKH and 24 Assam Rifles under HQ IGAR, South has apprehended one suspected PLA cadre from Patsoi area today, as said by the public relation officer, HQ IGAR South through a press release.
The apprehended person is identified as Taorem Priyobrata alias Clington, 29, son of T Budhichandra from Pasoi part 2, as said by the release. Further it added that the joint operation was launched after receiving information about the presence of underground cadre in the area. One M-20 pistol with magazine and three lives round were recovered from his possession and later handed the person to Patsoi polic Station along with the recovered items as said by the statement.
