IMPHAL, Oct 19: CPI leader and former Deputy Speaker N Mangi Singh has expressed his sadness over the controversial appointments in the Manipur Legislative Assembly.
Mangi said when he was the Deputy Speaker he had not made appointments to either casual or contracts employees in the assembly.
He said, in order to restore the dignity of the house the Chief Minister should institute an inquiry into the controversial appointment of Speaker Lokeshore’s wife and other appointments as well.
