IMPHAL, Oct 15: Inner Manipur MP, Dr Thokchom Meinya has deeply mourned the sudden and untimely demise of former Minister, Md. Allauddin Khan.
A statement of MP has said that during his lifetime, Khan worked his entire life for the welfare of the people of Manipur and also for the Muslim Minority.
“He is one of a few leaders of the state who always championed the cause of downtrodden and disadvantaged section of the society”, the statement said.
“In his death, the state has lost an upcoming young politician and a social worker. It is indeed a huge loss for all of us”, it said.
The MP has also sent his sincere condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
