IMPHAL, Oct 19: The proscribed RPF/PLA has clarified in a press statement that Lourembam Robinson alias Benin alias Sanatomba, 30, son of Babudhon who was reportedly arrested from near Wangkhei Ideal English School by a team of Imphal East police commandos on October 17 at around 8:30 am is a deserter of the outfit.
The statement further said that Robinson was a regular army of the outfit, but in the year 2009, he ran away without giving any information to the party. On August 8, 2010 he was dismissed from the party.
Furthermore, it has also clarified that Salam Deven, 47, son of Yaima of Thangmeiband Hijam Leikai, who was reportedly arrested from Sanakeithel area on October 17 and Khumukcham Inaocha alias Borchandra, son of Oken of Umathel Mayai Leikai, who was reportedly arrested yesterday at around 2:30 pm by a combined team of Thoubal police commandos and 27 AR are not related with RPF/PLA in any manner.
