IMPHAL, December 9: A caretaker of the Savio English School, Langol Ningthou under Lamphel Police Station was found dead this early morning inside a classroom of the school.
The caretaker has been identified as Hoiningsumbam Ramananda, 35, son of (late) Irabot of Kairenbi Khongao.
He was working as a caretaker at Savio English School and has been staying there.
It is learnt that the dead body was found inside a classroom just below his bedroom and that the room was found filled with blood stains.
Sources have identified Ramananda to be an alcoholic.
Post mortem was conducted at the RIMS today.
Meanwhile, sources informed that a crack was found on the back of his head during the post mortem.
It is suspected that he must have died after falling from the stairs while coming down from his bedroom.
His dead body has been handed over to his family members.
