IMPHAL, January 16: Tight security vigil over the state capital, ahead of this year’s Republic Day continued today.
Late in the evening, Imphal East district police conducted a search operation and frisking checking at Lamlong Bazar.
13 individuals were detained during the search operation and handed over to the police for further verification.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of M Rajen additional SP (ops) Imphal East from 5.30 pm at Lamlong Bazar and the adjourning localities.
