IMPHAL, April 4: The NWU and NPMHR have jointly appreciated the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) for its tireless and continuous efforts to bring together all the Naga political groups toward the formation of one Naga National Government.

The signing of the Lenten Agreement on March 28, 2014 by the NSCN-IM, NNC/FGN and NSCN- Khole/Kitovi is a “bold step towards progress and true reconciliation” that ushers in optimism and hope for our future, said a press statement of the bodies.

It is hope that this spirit of willingness and commitment is upheld and ensures that the objectives set forth in the agreement is realised in good time, it said.

“We pledge our humble support and participation in this very crucial and significant process which we believe will go a long way in fulfilling the common aspiration of our nation,” it said.
