IMPHAL, April 25: The Peoples Development Society organised today a one day Customer Services Provider (CSP) Workshop cum Training on bank enrolment and transaction at Manipur Rural Bank, Head Office Keisampat.
Monolith Deb, chairman of the Bank has inaugurated the function while Kh Yaiskul Singh , Senior Manager Ins. Vig & FI and A Tekendra Singh, Manager IT was also present in the training program.
During the program, Monolith said that various beneficial schemes have been provided by the bank and people are working hard in this one and half years.
He said that CSP had been operational in 19 villages which have ensured that the bank can provide more banking services in the region.
He further mentioned that bank officials should have to work hard with utmost sincerity so as to provide the villagers get those benefits, and added that that more than 70% of the rural populace are not having bank accounts.
So, employees of the bank should reach out to the rural folk who are unaware of the banking service and banking ideas, he added.
