IMPHAL, December: Volunteers of the Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System, JCILPS supported by local club volunteers conducted a survey to identify non-locals at Kakhulong, Paona Bazar, Imphal and Sekmai Bazar today.
Volunteers of Kakhulong Youth Committee, KYC and All Sekmai Protection Committee, an apex body of Sekmai Meira Paibi and clubs along with JCILPS members conducted the survey at their respective locations today.
More than 700 non-locals have been identified so far during their survey held at some locations till date, JCILPS co-convenor BK Moirancha told IFP during a telephonic interaction.
He said the committee is eagerly waiting for the recommendations of the All Political Parties Committee on ILPS which is supposed to be submitted tomorrow, although the JCILPS has not received any intimidation of the same from the political committee.
