Too early to jump into any conclusion on skull recovery: Gaikhangam

IMPHAL, December 28: The skulls and skeletons recovered from a construction site inside the old Tombisana High School compound will be examined by the Forensic experts soon, deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam who is also the Home minister of the State told media persons today.

He said it is too early to jump into any conclusion regarding the recovery of the bones and human skulls.

Gaikhangam who is also the president of the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee was addressing a media conference in his office at the Congress Bhavan after the 129th foundation day celebration of the Indian National Congress.

He said the age of the skeletons and the period of their burial could be ascertained through advance scientific tools like carbon dating.

In order to help further in the investigating, post mortem examination of the skulls and bones recovered, Gaikhangam said adding.
