BJP promises district status for Jiribam if party comes to power

The inspection around the NH-37 Imphal-Jiribam was also taken part by President, Meinam Bharat, Sh. Shantikumar Sharma, General Secretary, Ashnikumar, Spokesperson , RK Shivadutta, Treasurer Robin Blacky, ex-Minister, Samuel Jendai, ex-Minister, A Biren Singh, MP Candidate, K Ranjan, Social Worker, E. Dipti Kumar and K. Sarat. Villagers of Noney, Kambiron and Phaituol welcomed H. Chaoba and villagers of Gularthol, Jiribam welcomed the ex-Minister, A. Biren Singh and a meeting was also held at the village.

President of BJP, Manipur Pradesh, Th. Chaoba has said that decision has been taken to strengthen Jiribam BJP Mandal and efforts are being taken up by the Jiribam Mandal to win the upcoming Municipality Election and Assembly Election. Works are also taken up at Tamenglong for the upcoming Council Election. He further said that the party will repeatedly appeal to turn NH 37 into a 4 lane road.

He further said that 10,000 forms have been submitted for members for the Jiribam Mandal and forms have been issued 3 times for the state. He added that by March 31, an accurate number of the form submission will be established. He also added that there is communication gap between Jiribam and him when he was the Chief Minister. He concluded by saying that Jiribam will be converted into a district if BJP makes government in the state.
