IMPHAL, March 1: Patriotic Writers Forum, Manipur has organised a book release function at Lamyanba Shanglen, Imphal today of two books that it has published. Altogether two books written by Dr Haobam Indrakumar were released today titled `Langtai Warel`™ and `Meitei Yawol`™.
Both the books are written in the Bengali script are abstracts of books which are already in print, stated the writer, Dr Haobam Indrakumar. He also added that the age-old traditions and custom are being neglected by the younger generation. He said re-releasing the abstracts in a more integrated version is necessary as the society, especially the younger generation, tends to forget the historical aspects of our community.
The book release function was attended by Professor Sairem Nilbir and Patriotic Writers`™ Forum, Manipur president Raghu Leisangthem as the chief guest and president respectively.
Professor Polem Nabachandra and Dr Sagolsem Lanchenba Meetei shared their ideas and talked about their books.
