Jiribam, Nov 3: Normal life was effected by 28 hrs bandh called by Jribam District Demand Committee (J.D.D.C) against the failure of government to declare Jribam as a full fledged revenue district though after signing a memorandum in 2011 between the representatives of State Government of Manipur and Jribam District Demand Committee.
All the business establishment, shops, markets were closed at Jribam in response to the bandh. Passenger vehicles, autorikshaw were off the road but some private vehicles were seen plying for the emergency purposes.
