JAC CCpur appeals for mass participation in observation against anti-tribal bills

CHURACHANDPUR, December 8: The Joint Action Committee (JAC) Against Anti-Tribal Bills, Churachandpur has appealed to the tribal from all walks of life to take part in the observation of 100 days of protest and preservation of the nine tribal martyrs at Churachandpur District Hospital morgue to be held on December 9 at Lamka Public Ground.

The JAC in its press release issued by Information and Publicity Department said a mass prayer and a one-minute silent will be observed as mark of tribute to the nine tribal martyrs.

The statement said the movement launched in the aftermath of the passing of the three anti-tribal bills is for ensuring its dignity, land and right.

It appealed to all the tribal to ensure maximum participation in the observation to pay fitting homage to the martyrs.

Stating that the observation is an occasion to retrospect and thank the almighty to march the movement further, the JAC further appealed to the tribal to light candle at their respective houses between 6-7 pm.

Meanwhile, the Joint Philanthropic Organisation (JPO) in its meeting held today expressed dismay and apprehension on the way of delivery of cold storage to Churachandpur District Hospital where dead bodies of the nine tribal martyrs are being kept.
