IMPHAL, Jan 21: Regional Institute of Medical Sciences director Dr S Rita Devi today inaugurated the institute’s Gents’ Hostel No 5.
The inaugural function was also attended by medical superintendent Dr Amuba Singh, dean of Academy Dr Ak Joy and chief account officer E Devendra Singh and other officials.
The inaugurated hostel is a G+1 type 80-bedded hostel building and was constructed by the RIMS authority under the supervision of the Technical and Promotional Cell (TP Cell), Hill-II, RCS Office, Manipur.
Construction of the hostel began in November 2014 and concluded ahead of its stipulated time on January 20, 2016.
