IMPHAL, February 10: Patanjali Yog Samiti, Manipur has appealed the public to participate in the Free Yoga Therapy and Meditation camp to be instructed by renowned yoga guru commonly known as Baba Ramdev, at the Hapta Kangjeibung, Imphal from February 13 to 17.
An interactive session for the active participation in the free yoga therapy and meditation camp was held today at Thangal bazaar attended by yoga enthusiasts and well wishers of Bab Ramdev.
Speaking during the session, Brajamohan Sharma, convenor of the Samiti, told media persons that it was a matter of joy for the people in the state that they are given an opportunity to be taught by the yoga guru himself.
It has been informed that special free yoga camp exclusively for students/youths and their parents would be organised on February 14 and women on February 15.
Underlining the healing power of the yoga therapy, Sharma, appealed the public to take full advantage of the five days camp.
MC Binod, president of the Samiti, while clarifying on the debate and confusion doing the round on the social media, said that it was unfortunate to further debate on the issue of ‘yoga’ and Baba Ramdev when over 200 countries around the world are benefitting from the therapy instructed by ‘Baba’ himself.
Informing that the Samiti is expecting around 8000 people, president also assured to avail Manipuri version of yoga books within this month.
