IMPHAL, March 11: Criticising the BJP led NDA government headed by Narendra Modi, Communist Party of India Manipur State Council general secretary Dr M Nara said the NDA government main endeavour is to communalism and saffronisation of the whole country.
The BJP is trying to infiltrate and strengthen itself in Manipur, he added.
Speaking at a press conference held at the Irawat Bhawan today, Dr Nara urged the people to be alert against any outside attempt to create dissonance among the various communities of the State.
He said the NDA’s politics is based on opportunism and they have failed to deliver their promises made to the people.
The present government in the Centre works under the slogan, “One religion, one nation,” he claimed and said it works to bring back the caste system, communalism and to suppress democracy and secularism.
Its only agenda is to suppress other communities of which the best examples could be the attacks on students at IIT Chennai, Hyderabad Central University, Benares Hindu University, Jadhapur University, Film Institute of Pune and Jawaharlal Nehru University Delhi, he said.
The government has arrested democratically elected presidents of students union and other students’ activists on cooked up charged of raising anti-national slogans, he added.
Even before it is yet to complete two years in power, the Narendra Modi government has lost confidence and support from various sections of the society, as the government has heaped huge economic burdens on the people, he claimed.
While denying the benefits enjoyed by the common people, the government has granted concessions to corporate houses, he said.
Frustrated by the growing discontentment shown by the people, the BJP led NDA government headed by Modi and the Sangh Parivar have resorted to diverting peoples’ attention from its own failures by unleashing a futile debate on nationalism and anti-nationalism, he added.
Their act is to capture universities and institutions of higher education, curb their authority and exploit the patriotic sentiments of the people to impose the most conservative and chauvinistic communal and divisive ideology, he claimed.
He continued that their current fascistic offensive of the Sangh Parivar is a big ideological challenge for all the patriotic secular and democratic people of the country.
Dr Nara further charged that the BJP government of trying to suppress women without permitting them to come out from their homes.
This is clearly established by the fact that on the International Women’s Day on March 8, Prime Minister Narendra Modi failed to mention even once the issue of 33 percent representation of women in Parliament despite the issue enjoying support from all political parties, he added.
Dr Nara said later this month, his party will launch a counter ideological offensive against the fascist onslaught of Modi government and Sangh Parivar.
He also observed that his party will be fielding more candidates in the upcoming municipal election and further appealed to the people to ensure a free and fair conduct of the election.
Narendra Modi and entire BJP are Muslims pretending to be Hindus. Sanskrit script or mixing Sanskrit words does not make the Pakistani language Hindi into an Indian language. If these people are genuine Hindus, they should care to promote the Hindu promoted languages as official language. We know that BJP rejected the Indian language petition. BJP is nothing but an Islamic party. Its very clear in the Quran, that the goal of every pious Muslim is to expand Islam into India. Subramania Swamy and Narendra Modi are bunch of Muslim enacting “Taqiyya”, in fact whole of BJP is doing Taqiyya, however Pakistani language Hindi blabbering and imposition will show the true colours of the radical Islamic outfits which the Media tries to portray has Hindus. Visiting Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Dubai, praising Islam etc itself should give a clue that Modi is a Muslim.
