IMPHAL, May 15: In an attempt to strengthen friendship and fraternity between the people of the two neighbouring States, the civil societies of Nagaland and Assam have resolved to form a dialogue forum comprising adequate and equal representatives from both sides.

The Naga Hoho and the Asom Sahitya Sabha will respectively nominate the members from each State. While nominating the members, both individuals and leaders from various organizations, the meeting resolved that they should be broad based to make the proposed forum more meaningful and effective.
As a follow up of the 1st Round Table at Guwahati on October 9, 2015, the Naga Hoho hosted the 2nd Round Table at Kohima where large delegates from both Assam and Nagaland participated, and some of them visited the historic Khonoma village on Saturday. The Naga Hoho extended its deepest appreciation to Khonoma villagers for their warm welcome and fullest cooperation accorded to the visitors.
