At the functio, Governor Najma Heptulla applauded the teachers and parents for encouraging and imparting education to the children especially.
It is worth mentioning that Khabeisoi Kerang Khomidok village has no Government school. Therefore, which was established in 2004 with an aim to provide educational facilities to the minority and weaker section of the societies took the initiative to open junior college at Khabeisoi.
The trust has been providing free education and accommodation to both orphan boys and girls and needy children. Till date, 2400 orphans, 6012 needy children and 3326 children belonging to bakward section of the society have been enrolled.
Apart from providing free education, the trust has been sponsoring medical students, conducting social welfare, adult education programme, computer training, sanitation programme, annual sports and other vocational training programmes for the benefit of the locals.
