MPP condoles sudden demise of Ningthoukhongjam Khelchandra

IMPHAL, Feb 1: Many have sent in their condolence regarding the sudden demise of Ningthoukhongjam Khelchandra who breathed his last at 9:30 pm yesterday.
A release of the Manipur Peoples’ Party has expressed its profound grief and sorrow at the sudden demise of Khelchandra.
In a meeting held at its office premises today, the party condole the demise of the outstanding scholar and further added that the party shares the deep grief and sorrow suffered by the family members. It further said that his demise had created a void in the field of history, culture and literature of Manipur which could not be filled up.
The meeting also observed two minutes silent as a mark of respect to the departed soul for peace and it share the deep grief and sorrow suffered by the family members of the late scholar caused by his demise.
The consumers club, in a separate release has said that the late scholar was once an executive member of the club and expressed their profound grief and sorrow of the lost with the family member.
It said that in honour of the great leader a two minute silence was also observed at the premises of the office.
The Naharol Sahitya Premee Samiti has also sent in its condolence message at the sudden demise of the outstanding scholar.
HULA Sindamsang , Keisamthong Laisom Leirak and Huyen Lallong Manipur Thang Ta Cultural Association , Irilbung in separate press releases condoles the demise of Padmashree Ningthoukhongjam Khelchandra and shares the sorrow of the bereaved family members.
