Weekend trip to Phungyar (103 km of ever winding mountain roads), Ukhrul District, Manipur. On return in the night, found this wild forest fire in full swing.
So much for the environment awareness campaign this wildfire was reported to be started by ignorant local(s) maybe accidentally.
An emergency situation and executed this task without the tripod (no time to set up) and shoot at 1 sec. hand-held only hoping that my students up front didn’t make much of a movement. ~ Moirangthem Ranjit
