IMPHAL, Nov 11: 12 BIHAR of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organized Diwali celebrations at Green Academy School, Paubitek on November 10, said a release of PRO IGAR (South).
A total of 250 students including teachers, administrative staff and other prominent personalities of the village participated in the celebrations.
Gifts, sweets, crackers and candles were distributed by the battalion which brought much cheer and joy among the students. The Principle of the School expressed his gratitude towards this noble gesture rendered by the Assam Rifles, the release added.
